Class 12 study plan

A practical Class 12 study plan for board exam pressure

Class 12 preparation needs steady revision, answer-writing practice, weak chapter repair, and careful test correction without creating panic at home.

Class 12 planning steps

Step 1

Choose stream-wise weekly goals

Set separate weekly goals for PCM, PCB, or Commerce plus English so the student is not overloading one subject and ignoring another.

Step 2

Separate board and concept goals

Class 12 students need both board-score preparation and clear concepts for future courses. Keep textbook revision, numericals, derivations, diagrams, and writing practice balanced.

Step 3

Repair weak chapters first

Do not wait for pre-board pressure. Start with chapters where the student forgets formulas, reactions, definitions, derivations, diagrams, grammar, or long answers.

Step 4

Use timed answer writing

Many students know the topic but lose marks because answers are incomplete or slow. Practise writing full answers within time limits every week.

Step 5

Practise numericals step by step

For Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Accounts, marks come from method. Write formula, substitution, units, working, and final answer clearly.

Step 6

Track mistakes after every test

Make a mistake notebook for repeated errors, skipped steps, weak diagrams/graphs, wrong formulas, and presentation issues. Revise it before every test.

Step 7

Keep revision realistic

A good Class 12 plan should fit school, coaching, homework, rest, and tuition timing. Overloaded schedules usually break after a few days.
